High stability-- Hardware compression and the professional embedded operating system RTOS, is completely different from PC based systems, completely avoiding instability and virus problems.

State-of-the-art H.264 (MPEG4 Part 10) video compression. It’s better than MJPEG, MPEG1, MPEG2 and wavelet in HDD space required (only 1/8). Occupies less HDD space and is more usable for Network transmission.

Uses G.722 compression format for audio
Each channel compresses the signal in real-time individually, the parameters of resolution, frame, and record time can be set up separately.
IDE interfaces support HDDs of any capacity, including the capacity of more than 137GB.
Watchdog timer can restart the system less than 10 seconds to shorten the non-working time. In case the power is accidentally turned off, system will restart automatically once the power is on again, making it suitable for the unsupervised operation.
